The Professorial Lecture Series is now in its second year, arising from the review of the Academic Promotions Policy and Procedures. The series is designed to provide our university community with an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge those promoted to the role of professor.
Next month, we'll gather at the St Patrick’s Campus in Melbourne to celebrate the success from the 2023 Academic Promotions round of: Professor Stuart Cormack, and Professor David Opar.
Join us to hear our newest professors speak about their impactful work in teaching, research and service, with the opportunity to ask each presenter questions.
Professor David Opar is the Director of the Sports Performance, Recovery, Injury and New Technologies (SPRINT) Research Centre. In addition, Professor Opar is also the Injury Research Program Lead for SPRINT and will be sharing some of the lessons learnt across his career so far.
All staff are welcome and encouraged to attend either in person at our Melbourne campus or online via MS Teams. The details of the event and registration details are below.
Thursday 4 July, 10am. Light refreshments will be offered at the conclusion of the event.
