Role of Chair training

The Talent Management team is pleased to announce that Role of Chair training is now available online through the ACU Staff Learning Hub, allowing you to complete this module at your convenience.

This mandatory training is essential for chairs and hiring managers. We also encourage all staff, including selection committee panel members, to participate to better understand ACU’s hiring practices.

The module covers key topics such as finding the right fit, hiring for Mission, inclusive hiring practices, unconscious bias, our Recruitment and Selection Policy, and providing effective leadership to the selection committee. It also emphasises selecting candidates who will contribute to your team's success and ACU’s growth.

The module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Even if you've attended face-to-face training in the past (thank you for your participation), we invite you to enrol, as new content has been added.
