Staff who have a password that does not meet the updated ACU password complexity requirements were notified in June that they would need to change their password.
IT is now rolling out mandatory passwords updates to staff who have not yet changed their password.
The first batches of staff to be notified of mandatory password updates has now been successfully completed. In the last three weeks more than 700 staff have updated their password, with more than 1500 password updates since June. Thank you to everyone who has completed the password update process so far.
Batches are being processed alphabetically through to mid-October. Impacted staff will receive a prompt via email on Monday of the given week and if the password has not been changed by COB on Wednesday of the same week, they will be required to change it at their next login.
If you received the email in June advising that you need to update your password, you can get ahead of the changes now and update your password yourself. This will ensure that the timing of the update is most convenient for you. Instructions to change your password can be found in this article – How to change your password at ACU.
It’s a good idea to have this knowledge base article, previous and current passwords, and Service Central contact details at hand before you begin.
