Changes to staff IT account process

ACU staff no longer need to submit requests to create IT accounts for their new starters, or when staff leave ACU (for all staff accounts onboarded through Aurion and CAASS/CES). Identity and Access Management (IDAM) project will deploy the Saviynt system solution to perform the Joiner, Mover, Leaver & Rehire (JMLR) activities for all staff accounts onboarded through Aurion and CAASS/CES.

What do I need to do?

For hiring managers, once the information for the new starter has been entered into Aurion or CAASS/CES, the IT accounts will be automatically created. The account details will be sent to the manager up to one week prior to the start date, depending on when the request is entered into Aurion or CASS/CES.

  • There will be no requirement to submit a Service Central request to create or disable an IT account for any staff.
  • After you receive confirmation that the account has been created, you will be sent a link to a new Service Central form to input staff details such as location, shared mailboxes and network drives.
  • The process for requesting vendor, contractor and other user types outside of continuing, fixed term and casual staff are not changing as part of this implementation.
