Role of Chair training

Will you be leading or participating in an ACU recruitment process this year? The Talent Team is encouraging all hiring managers and panel members to enrol in our new online module to better understand ACU’s hiring practices. This mandatory training is essential for chairs and hiring managers, however, all staff are encouraged to participate.

The module covers key topics such as finding the right fit, hiring for mission, inclusive hiring practices, unconscious bias, our Recruitment and Selection Policy, and providing effective leadership to the selection committee. It also emphasises selecting candidates who will contribute to your team's success and ACU’s growth.

The module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Even if you've attended face-to-face training in the past, we invite you to enrol, as new content has been added. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact your talent management partner.
