Celebrating 25 years with ACU

Internationally renowned mathematics education researcher and ACU Professor Elizabeth Warren celebrates 25 years working at ACU this month.

In her time working at ACU, Professor Warren has had a distinguished career in education in the areas of research, teaching and administration.

She began her career as a teacher in secondary schools and as a part-time tutor at Brisbane College of Advanced Education.

Throughout her 25 years with ACU she has served as an Associate Dean Research of the Faculty of Education, Head of School Education Queensland and Chair of many University and Faculty committees.

Professor Warren is an internationally renowned mathematics education researcher and she has substantially contributed to the research profile of ACU.

Her main areas of research are in mathematics education and Indigenous education, both of which have been supported by Australian Research Council (ARC) funding.
