Service improvements to ACU’s Course Completion process

Changes to the course completion process have seen a major improvement in the experience of finalising study at ACU - for both students and staff. The new process enables graduating students to apply sooner for jobs, professional registration or further study.

Course Coordinators now begin the assessment process much earlier and students are classified as expected to graduate (XG) pending successful results for their final semester of study. This means that once results are released, Enrolments, Fees and Scholarships staff are able to release a student’s results more quickly.

As a result of the new process, 82% of completing students were assessed for completion by the Semester 2, 2016 result release date. 3,034 students were sent their completed academic transcripts by 16 December 2016, an approximate increase of 60 percent from the same time the year before.

Congratulations to the Enrolments, Fees and Scholarships, Student Systems and Course Coordinator staff for working together to make this improvement possible.
