Register now for the video conference: Managing WHS Risk at ACU.
This presentation focuses on the tools you can use at ACU to easily identify and remove hazards, and the triggers for formally assessing and treating (controlling) WHS risk.
ACU is strongly committed to maintaining safe working and learning spaces and the University publishes a number of checklists and forms which support staff and others to manage risk.
This session has a practical focus and guides participants about accessing, selecting and using tools such as office and laboratory inspection checklists, systems and WHS assessment forms.
The presentation also explores how riskware supports the University to identify hazards and manage risk. Participants will also be encouraged to avoid some common pitfalls, such as not effectively consulting about the management of risk.
