As part of ACU’s ongoing commitment to cyber security, IT is now offering free premium antivirus software to ACU staff for use on personal devices.
Sophos Home Commercial Use antivirus software can be installed on up to ten personal devices, and is available to all ACU permanent, contract, and casual staff during their employment. This will also be available to students in the future.
Sophos Antivirus is used across all ACU computers and laptops to proactively protect against cyber-threats including identify theft, phishing, and malware.
The Sophos Home Commercial Use license contains all the features employed on ACU computers, to provide staff with the same strong protection at home as they receive on their ACU devices.
Instructions on how to download the software are available from Service Central. The software is available for download on both Windows and Mac computers, and will update automatically when new versions are available.
