Academic promotions – information sessions

A number of sessions are being offered in May to support staff applying for academic promotion and to assist supervisors on how they can best support their staff when applying for academic promotion.

Preparing for academic promotions for applicants

These sessions are for academic staff who are considering applying for promotion in the 2020 round, or in the near future.  The session includes:

  • an overview of the promotions process, including the key changes from the previous promotion round
  • a Q&A session where your questions can be answered.

This session is specifically tailored to provide academic supervisors with guidance on preparing and effectively supporting academic staff who are considering applying for promotion.  The session includes:

  • an overview of the promotions process, including key changes from the previous promotion round;
  • a presentation by the Chair, Academic Promotions Committee about the Committee’s expectations for the Application and Case for Promotion Form; and
  • a Q&A session where your questions can be answered.
