ACU will be moving to an annual rolled timetable in 2021. The timetable for all 2021 teaching periods will be available for staff and students to view in October 2020.
The decision to move to an annual rolled timetable has been reached after an extensive consultation period.
Data collection for all 2021 teaching periods will take place between 8 June and 10 July. We understand there might be some things that will be subject to change at this time. Please provide the best information that you have available and let the Timetabling team know of any changes.
As this year's timetable will form the foundation of the 2021 timetable, the only data we need is:
At this stage, we do not need to know teaching staff details. Staffing information will be collected later in the year.
The draft timetable will be open to staff from 10 August to 2 October. This is your opportunity to request changes to the timetable to make sure that it meets the needs of your students and staff.
The CST project team will be holding timetabling information sessions across the university throughout March and April. We will explain more about how the annual timetable will work and about the move to preferential class selection in Semester 2. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions that you might have about timetabling.

We will also be providing dedicated information and training sessions to Timetabling Liaison Officers to support them through this transition.
