The year was 1995: Paul Keating was the Prime Minister, Windows 95 was released, Telecom changed to Telstra, petrol was 68 cents a litre, a loaf of bread cost $1.47, and Nairi Mozian was offered the position of Administrative Assistant at ACU North Sydney. Life would never be the same again!
Throughout her ACU career, Nairi has worked with three vice-chancellors and seven campus managers. Throughout it all, her colleagues know that Nairi has continued to be jovial, resilient and confident at all times.
Early in her career at ACU, Nairi needed to work closely with Facilities Management for many years, gaining insights and knowledge into campus operations. Later on, the Properties & Facilities Directorate invited Nairi to join the team, in a role that had an enhanced focus on strategy, planning and finance.
Today in her current role of Senior Facilities Coordinator, Nairi’s efforts and many achievements behind-the-scenes mean she has contributed significantly to the directorate’s success and growth.
Ever-enthusiastic in her role, Nairi is admired and respected as a knowledgeable and resourceful stalwart of the ACU community. She also serves her local campus as a friendly Justice of the Peace in a voluntary capacity.
We are honoured and proud of Nairi for achieving this 25-year milestone with ACU. Congratulations Nairi and thank you for your service to the university.
