Congratulations to Professor Jan Seruga, Associate Dean Research, Faculty of Education and Arts, who celebrates 25 years of service to ACU this month.
Professor Seruga joined ACU in January 1995 from The University of New South Wales as a Lecturer with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences on the Castle Hill campus.
Professor Seruga has made a sustained contribution to leadership at ACU. In 2002 he was appointed Head, School of Business and Informatics (NSW) and went on to become the Foundation Associate Dean Research in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, before being appointed in 2011 as the Head, School of Arts and Sciences (NSW/ACT). He has served as Deputy Head, National School of Arts and is currently Associate Dean Research in the Faculty of Education and Arts. He also serves on the Academic Board.
He was one of the inaugural graduates of the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education at ACU and a recipient of ACU Teaching Development Grant.
Professor Seruga is the Research Chair of the Special Interest Group on Information Systems Education in the International Association for Information Systems. He has also been a Chief Investigator on an Australian Research Council Linkage Grant.
Professor Seruga is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society, a member of the Australian Mathematical Society and a member of the Community of Associate Deans Research in Education. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

ACU has a new process for submitting cases of academic misconduct. From Monday 8 April, all potential cases must be lodged through the Student Academic Misconduct Management System (SAMMS).
