Present with ACU polish

Creative services have created a variety of ACU campus-focused and branded backgrounds for use when presenting in Zoom or MS Teams. Adding polish to your presentation couldn’t be easier.

Simply download your chosen Zoom or Teams background from Sharepoint and follow these simple instructions.

MS Teams

Change your background before a meeting starts

1. While you're setting up your video and audio before joining a meeting, click the three dots on the meeting settings bar.
2. Select 'show background effects' just to the right of the mic switch. Your background options will display on the right.
3. To add an ACU background image, choose 'add new' and then select one to upload from your computer.
4. Either preview or select 'apply' to enable your video filter.

Change your background during a meeting

1. To alter your background after you've already joined a meeting, go to your meeting controls and select ‘more actions’. It's just to the right of the mic switch.
2. Select ‘show background effects’. Your background options will display on the right.
3. To add an ACU background image, choose 'add new' and then select one to upload from your computer.
4. Either preview or select 'apply' to enable your video filter.

Note 

• Background effects are only available for scheduled meetings.
• Ensure you’ve already downloaded the image you wish to use before the meeting has started. 

Zoom

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation menu, click 'settings'.
3. In the 'meeting' tab, navigate to the 'virtual background' option and verify that the setting is enabled.

Note

• If the setting is disabled, click the status toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, choose 'turn on' to verify the change.
• Ensure you’ve already downloaded the image you wish to use before the meeting has started.
