Academic Progress information sessions for staff

Academic and professional staff who are involved in the Academic Progress process are invited to attend an information session about the new regulations and progress reports on 23 or 24 June.

Academic Progress is a critical process in monitoring students’ performance. New regulations came into effect in 2020 which simplify the triggers for ‘At Risk’, ‘Unsatisfactory Progress’ and ‘Termination’.

In preparation for Semester 1 result release, information sessions are being offered to academic and professional staff involved in the Academic Progress process.

The sessions will cover:

  • changes to the Academic Progress regulations
  • a demonstration of a new Argos report to identify students
  • new template letters.

You are strongly encouraged to attend one of these sessions, which will be held on Tuesday 23 June at 2pm and Wednesday 24 June at 10am.

Please register your interest and advise of your preferred session time by 22 June.

If you are unable to attend one of these scheduled sessions but would still like information about the process, please contact Michael Dorman.
