Taking a break is good for our mental and physical health, helps avoid burnout, and improves our focus and keeps us on task. With Semester 1 drawing to a close and the winter break upon us, now is a great opportunity to plan to take some annual leave days as time to recharge and reset after what could be considered a challenging first half of the year.
As restrictions ease, why not explore locally and spend some time getting to know your local towns, or simply take some time to put your feet up, read a book, or finish those lingering projects around the home?
If you are looking for ways to have fun and save money, check out the discounts offered through ACUAdvantage or Smart Salary Rewards and enjoy some local, home-grown activities while taking that much-needed annual break.
Register for the Managing Wellbeing virtual workshop that will be held on 18 June.
Also, don’t forget to sign up for the virtual Flexibility workshops for managers and staff that will be held throughout June.
