If you are working remotely in response to COVID-19, there are a range of resources available to support you.

Help yourself

When working from home there are a few steps to take to get your equipment set up and connected.

Read the How do I work from home? knowledge article on Service Central, which offers guidance and advice on working from home and links to further resources.

There is also a dedicated ‘Work from home’ category on Service Central where you can access a range of self-help articles to assist you. This information will be regularly updated, as required.

Contact Service Central

If you need support while working remotely you can:

  1. ‘Chat’ online with a Service Central Officer via the Service Central portal from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
  2. Access a range of helpful knowledge articles or submit a service request via the portal 24 hours a day.
  3. Phone (07) 3623 7272 from 8am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Please note that IT Campus Support Officers will remain on campus and are available from 9am – 5pm. You can request support from IT Campus Support Officers via Service Central.

The transition to working remotely presents challenges for us all. Staff and services are currently adapting to this change, which means demand for services is high.

It is important to be patient as the univ
ersity transitions to working remotely. Not everything will be perfect and we will need to be understanding as we work together to create our new ways of working.
