Earlier this year, we announced a new online process to apply for a flexible working arrangement to achieve greater consistency and transparency, and to position ACU as an employer of choice while making sure that your safety remains our priority.
For those of you that had pre-existing Flexible Work Arrangements in place prior to the introduction of the online process, you will now need to submit a Flexible Work Arrangements Request through Service Central. By doing your part, we will be able to ensure that all Flexible Work Arrangements are captured to help us to promote transparency across ACU and to ensure that all requests are considered and approved in line with changes in the Flexible Working Arrangements Policy.
The major changes to the Flexible Working Policy were:
If you have a pre-existing flexible working arrangement you will need to lodge it using the Flexible Work Arrangement Request through Service Central. As part of this process you should attach any previous documentation to support your request.
All existing arrangements should be entered through Service Central by the end of November 2020.
Check out our FAQs for more information.
Our Victorian colleagues do not need to submit a request while there are current working from home requirements in line with Victorian public health orders. There will be an opportunity for Victorian staff to submit their requests in early 2021.
We are running information sessions for staff and supervisors to provide an overview of the policy and process. You can enrol in a session by selecting the relevant date and time below.
