The Supervise for Success program has been expanded in 2021 and the program will run between 17 and 30 August, with a second program scheduled to run in November.
We know how critical the role of a supervisor is as the immediate leader of people and functions, communicator and implementer at ACU. Supporting you in your role to have a broad base of leadership skills is important and even more so in a context of ever-present change.
Our Supervise for Success program is part of the ACU leadership development approach and after a successful launch in 2020 it has been expanded in 2021.
Supervisors are encouraged to design their own schedule of activities based on the range of modules on offer, to support current and future learning needs. Your supervisor may have also provided guidance around learning priorities as part of a recent Progress Plan conversation, or you may look to do this prior to registering.
Six modules are on offer to all supervisors which are suitable to both new and experienced university leaders. If you have attended before, you are welcome to attend again as all module content is regularly updated to reflect contextual changes. To register please see details below.
How are you appointment needs approached and how effective are the appointments you make? Any appointment decision is strategic and should be made with consideration of the work area, the appointee in mind, and ACU.
