Day one will involve presentations from academics involved with community engagement and service-learning, community partners, and students who ‘pivoted’ in their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Day one also includes our ‘Cultural cuisine cook-off’, an informal networking session that provides an opportunity to meet and chat with other conference attendees over some tasty treats. We encourage you to join us for morning tea/supper with a home cooked treat from your partner country. For Australia, that means cooking up some Chicago classics. We have included some suggested recipes in the session details online, but feel free to explore other local cuisines that tantalise your tastebuds.

Day two will involve presentations that discuss the praxis of service-learning and community engagement in our present-day world. Presentations will be made by academics, community partners, and students reporting on the broad spectrum of community engagement and service-learning activities.

Day three will feature presentations from academics and community partners that report on service-learning and community engagement research in its myriad forms. This day will also engage the delegation in shared knowledge production as the key themes and desired actions from the conference are finalised.
