The Track and ACU Sport invite staff across our campuses to participate in the yearly virtual race to get more active, more often.
The Virtual Race will provide staff and students with the opportunity to participate in a three-kilometre, five-kilometre or 10-kilometre walk or run. Free to register and suitable for all levels of ability, with the emphasis on participation and having fun.
The initiative will commence on Monday 16 May at 9am and finish on Sunday 22 May at 11pm.
Whether it be grabbing some friends and heading for a coffee for a three-kilometre walk or hitting the pavement and trying to beat your 10-kilometre personal best, the challenge has something for everyone.
Students and staff who register and complete the challenge will receive an ACU Sport t-shirt and medallion for taking part. A Garmin Forerunner Music 245 will also be awarded to a lucky winner, who will be announced after the Virtual Race has concluded.
Participants must join the ACU Sport Strava page and upload their walk or run via Strava to go in the draw for the watch and to redeem all prizes. Instructions on joining will be distributed before the Virtual Race begins.
If you have any questions regarding the Virtual Race, please contact thetrack.melb@acu.edu.au for more information.
