In January 2024 the ACU Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider will change to Acacia EAP. The follows a period of staff consultation and the results of a competitive tender process.
As a part of our ongoing commitment to support the physical and mental wellbeing of all staff, Acacia EAP will continue to provide counselling as well as health and well-being resources to help staff and their families proactively enhance their wellbeing.
Staff and their immediate family members can access:
The program provided by Acacia EAP offer a 24/7 service, rapid response times and emergency telephone counselling, as well as a manager advice service. Dedicated First Nations, LGBTQI+ and Domestic and Family Violence support counselling services will be available as well as a general counselling number.
Further details and FAQs on accessing the new EAP service will be available on the Employee Assistance Program staff webpage prior to the end of the year.
Please continue to use the contact information for Access EAP until the end of 2023 and the contact information for Acacia EAP from 1 January 2024.
Important to note: For staff currently utilising services with our current EAP provider Access, please be assured that this change will not impact your ongoing treatment. Your clinical professional will provide you with information around the change individually or see the FAQs for further information.
