Professional learning workshops

Explore the professional learning workshops available in preparation for Semester 1 teaching. Optimise your use of Zoom, Echo360, HyFlex and collaborative learning in February.

A range of in-person and online professional learning opportunities will be available from 13–23 February to help grow your skill set and expand your knowledge on topics such as:

• Setting up and running online tutorials in Zoom
• Teaching with HyFlex (also available in-person in North Sydney)
• Engaging students with collaborative learning (also available in-person Ballarat, Brisbane, Melbourne)
• Introduction to Echo360
• Creating quality video content in Echo360
• Interactive tutorial strategies in Zoom.

Choose your own pathway

Whether you are new to ACU or would like to enhance your existing skills, choose your own learning pathway with tailored entry or exit points through just-in-time video snapshots and self-paced LEO units:

• Getting started in LEO
• Managing your units in LEO
• Marking and providing feedback in LEO.

If you are unsure of what offerings are most suitable to you, explore the CEI Professional Learning Program (PLP) which has been created to support the ongoing learning interests and needs of our staff engaged in teaching and learning. Determine the PLP level applicable to your own individual circumstances and discover relevant resources including informal learning, reflective practice and collaboration opportunities, ACU scholarship and formal coursework.
