Graduation season commences

All staff are warmly invited to participate in upcoming graduation ceremonies. It is a significant event in the university’s calendar and an opportunity for staff to offer a final show of support and celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates.

ACU’s Semester 1 graduation season commences in March with upcoming graduation ceremonies to be held in Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.

Graduation Masses will also be celebrated alongside our ceremonies in Canberra and Ballarat. Visit the graduation website to access the full schedule of ceremonies and masses.

By attending and supporting these events, you can make a valuable contribution to our students’ graduation experience and it’s a wonderful opportunity to experience the culmination of many years of hard work from both our students and staff.

All staff with a university degree or diploma are welcome to participate in the academic procession at the ceremonies. The Graduations Office is also looking for staff to assist with event and ceremonial activities on the day.

Anyone wishing to attend, participate in, or support the graduation ceremonies must submit the Staff Registration for Graduation form.

The following registration deadlines apply:

  • Ballarat – registration closes Thursday 16 March
  • Canberra – registration closes Wednesday 29 March
  • Brisbane – registration closes Tuesday 4 April
  • Melbourne – registration closes Tuesday 18 April
  • Sydney – registration closes Monday 1 May

Staff requiring ACU academic regalia for the academic procession must hire it via Service Central before the applicable closing date.

Please email the Graduations Office or via Service Central with any enquiries.

We look forward to seeing you at graduation in celebration of the achievements of our students and staff.
