Introducing the Academic Timeline Dashboard

The Centre for Education and Innovation (CEI) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Academic Timeline Dashboard.

Designed to improve co-operation and university-wide information sharing, the Academic Timeline Dashboard reflects academic capacity throughout the year to enable the efficient delivery of high-quality student learning experiences.

When exploring the Dashboard you will see an annual overview of university tasks, processes and interactions between directorates and faculties.

The Academic Timeline Dashboard will assist:

• Academic staff to gain an understanding of what interactions you can expect to have with directorates, when these may occur throughout the year and associated detailed processes.
• Directorate staff to understand peak periods and focus zones for academic staff, knowing when the most appropriate times are to seek assistance and detailed processes for the respective interactions with academic staff.

Consulting the Academic Timeline Dashboard prior to contacting teaching academics is advised, so focus and existing priorities can be balanced in line with any new requests, particularly during busy periods or focus zones.
