Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Express will soon be available to all ACU staff. You’ll soon be able to edit PDFs and easily create image and video content.
ACU regularly reviews its agreement with vendors to ensure it is providing the best possible service to staff and students. The upcoming new agreement will provide all ACU staff with professional PDF editing tools with Adobe Acrobat Pro and easy photo and video editing tools with Adobe Express.
Adobe Acrobat Pro provides advanced PDF editing tools:
Adobe Express is an easy, user-friendly photo and editing tool, just like Canva. You can create beautiful videos and images in minutes with thousands of templates, and even create your own images using AI.
These tools will be available to ACU staff from 20 October.
For Adobe Express, you’ll be able to simply log into Adobe Express in the web browser using your ACU credentials and start creating.
To install Adobe Acrobat Pro, you’ll need to download this from the Creative Cloud portal installed on your computer. Full instructions are available in the knowledge article How do I install Adobe Acrobat Pro?
If you don’t want to use Adobe Acrobat Pro, you can continue using Adobe Acrobat Reader as normal. You don’t need to do anything.
For Windows users, installing Adobe Acrobat Pro will replace Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer by default, or you may be asked to make Adobe Acrobat Pro your default PDF tool the first time you open it.
For Mac users, you’ll be asked to make Adobe Acrobat Pro your default PDF tool the first time you open it.
