ACU staff and students are invited to attend an ACU NAIDOC Week event on Friday 23 August at 11 am, to hear from Campaign Director of YES23 Dean Parkin.
Mr Parkin is from the Quandamooka peoples of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) in Queensland. From 2020 to 2023, he was focused on achieving a successful referendum on an Indigenous Voice to Parliament as the CEO of Australians for Indigenous Constitutional Recognition and Campaign Director of YES23.
The event will include a keynote address by Mr Parkin, followed by Q&A.
