Applications open for ACEN research grants

Looking to advance evidence-based practice of Work Integrated Learning (WIL)? Apply for an Australian Collaborative Education Network (ACEN) research grant now.

ACEN is offering funding for two Work Integrated Learning (WIL) research grants up to $10,000 each and two grants of $5,000 for Emergent and/or Early Career Researchers.

Applicants are encouraged to explore diverse topics aligned with one of the following themes:

  1. WIL and workplace technologies: Explore how emerging workplace technologies, including generative AI and virtual environments, can be strategically integrated into WIL.
  2. Innovating WIL: Focus on creating innovative WIL models to foster more authentic, meaningful and creative links between academia and industry/community.
  3. Valuing diversity and inclusion in WIL: Prioritise building agency, enhancing experiences, and fostering positive outcomes among diverse student groups within WIL.
  4. Indigeneity and WIL: Research actively engaging with First Nations students, communities and/or organisations in the co-creation of meaningful and affirming WIL experiences that aim to nurture global citizenship, cultural awareness and respect.

Applications are now open and close at 5pm (AEST) Monday 1 April. Successful applicants will be notified in early June, with feedback for unsuccessful applicants provided in early July.
