ACU Induction has been updated to improve the overall onboarding experience for our new staff members. Induction integrates several elements to support new starters to understand our organisation, our culture and what’s expected of them in their role. The Induction learning program has been reviewed and refreshed to include a series of online training and virtual workshops focusing on key workplace topics such as our mission, values, safety and risk.
In addition, all new starters now access an individualised induction dashboard in the Staff Learning Hub. This dashboard has been designed to seamlessly guide new staff members through their induction, supporting a more positive on boarding experience.
The updated program and Induction dashboard are now in place for all continuing and fixed term employees. New Starters are automatically enrolled and invited to complete the induction within a three-month period. In the coming months, this automated process will extend to include our casual and sessional team members.
Further Information about induction can be found on the staff website.
