The Centre for Education and Innovation (CEI) is pleased to announce that Canvas is now live for all staff and students, marking its complete implementation as ACU’s learning management system.
Canvas provides students with a consistent and familiar learning experience across each of their units. Canvas also has a convenient mobile app, a user-friendly interface, and is integrated well with ACU’s various enterprise systems.
CEI would like to acknowledge all the staff who have assisted with the implementation of Canvas throughout the last 18 months. Countless meetings, workshops, and consultations have been held with stakeholders from all areas of the university to make the transition to Canvas a success.
These discussions provided the Canvas Implementation Project team with valuable insight into developing key support resources, deploying new technologies, designing Canvas, and migrating LEO units. Thank you for your support.
Congratulations to all the members of the Canvas Implementation Project team for achieving such a significant milestone. The transition to Canvas has been a complex and challenging project, and its success can be attributed to the expertise, commitment, and positive collaboration shown by each team member.
We are excited about the possibilities Canvas holds for enriching ACU’s teaching and learning experience and look forward to further supporting staff and students throughout 2024.
