We’re excited to host Mission Week 2024 across our campuses next week. ACU Mission Week, 5-9 August, is an exciting opportunity for our whole university community to celebrate our mission, which is at the heart of everything we do at ACU. We’ll be hosting a variety of virtual and on-campus events with music, food stalls, guest speakers, giveaways, and opportunities to showcase our mission in action.
The theme for Mission Week is “We are ACU”, which recognises the unique perspectives that combine to embody our ACU community. Together, we are all united by our common purpose, and we should be proud of who we are as a community and the positive impact that we’re having on this world. To learn more about mission week, watch the Mission Week video below.
On Monday 5 August, we have the Community Engagement Showcase, highlighting how our mission comes alive at ACU through community impact and community-engaged learning, projects, programs, and research. Click here to register.
On Friday 9 August, you can join colleagues across the university for the “Climate Change, Pope Francis and Our Future” online event. This will highlight The Letter documentary, which is packed with powerfully moving personal stories alongside the latest information about the climate crisis and the toll it’s taking on nature and people. We will watch a portion of the documentary together and then open for questions and dialogue with our very own ACU expert panel members. Click here to register.
