To chair recruitment interviews at ACU you must equip yourself with the knowledge to ensure you're following the right procedure and protocols throughout the recruitment process. The responsibilities of a chair is different to those on an interview panel member. If you're looking to prepare yourself to recruit for continuing or fixed term staff, you must first complete the Role of Chair training.
In this 80-minute session, you will gain a high-level understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process and your responsibilities as a chair.

Motivation is at the core of what makes a team run well and what takes a business forward. Motivated employees are happier, more creative, and more productive. Disengaged and unmotivated employees, however, are more likely to be absent and make mistakes.
This workshop will help you get to the heart of what drives the individuals on your team and give you practical tools you can use to help them get motivated and stay motivated.

Research estimates that we are interrupted every 13 minutes within the workplace. Left unmanaged, interruptions and distractions can have a significant impact on productivity and stress levels.
Throughout this workshop, you will learn simple systems and time management techniques to handle interruptions and stay focused on what's important, including communicating priorities to others.

This interactive virtual workshop provides an opportunity for staff to understand and participate in a discussion about the mission and its importance at ACU, how the mission aligns with your work at ACU, and information about ACU’s identity as a Catholic university.

This program is for staff looking to develop a greater understanding of the importance of kinship and community in the everyday life of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and students. This program will be particularly useful for staff who are interacting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, colleagues and community.
