Include an additional survey item in the Student Evaluation of Learning and Teaching (SELT) survey for units that are offered in Professional Term 4 (202447).
The SELT surveys are conducted for all coursework units with 10 or more students in accordance with the Evaluation of Learning and Teaching Policy and related procedures.
In addition to the SELT core items (rating-type questions) automatically included in the survey, each teaching staff member (lecturer/tutor) has the opportunity to include one additional survey item of their own composition in relation to their teaching in a unit.
The additional survey item forms the fifth Likert scale item in Section B of the survey, relating to your teaching. It includes response options of strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree and strongly disagree. The survey item can focus on an aspect of an individual’s teaching practice or behaviour that they wish to seek feedback on. Some examples of optional items are:

The opportunity to request an additional survey item will close on Monday 3 June.
If you received an email about this process sent from Evaluations.CEI@acu.edu.au, it means:
If you did not receive an email invitation, then the criteria listed above were not met.
If you received the email invitation and you are not teaching in a unit, please inform CEI Evaluations Team immediately, so that we can remove your name before the surveys open to students.
For further information on SELT surveys, read Frequently Asked Questions or email Evaluations.CEI@acu.edu.au.
