ACU Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning are designed to recognise and reward staff who have made an outstanding contribution to student learning at the university with grants of $5000 awarded to successful applicants. There are five distinct awards available:
1. a general award for contributions to student learning
2. teaching focused on the Catholic intellectual tradition
3. teaching focused on building cultural capacity
4. a dedicated award for early career teachers
5. a dedicated award for sessional staff
Nominations for citations close on Monday, 9 September.
The Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in Teaching are the highest level of recognition offered by ACU. The Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Postgraduate Teaching give recognition to teachers (individuals and teams) renowned for their excellent teaching and their deep contribution to enhancing the quality of learning and teaching in higher education. Each award is worth $10,000 per individual or team.
