Cooperative Research Centre Projects webinar
Learn how to apply for a CRC-P grant, what makes a competitive application and hear from CRC-P participants in an online information session on Wednesday 8 May 2pm - 3.30pm, presented by Cooperative Research Australia in partnership with the Department of Industry, Science, and Resources.
Translate to Innovate Series
The Translate to Innovate Series is a year-long skill development program available to all ACU staff, including higher degree by research (HDR) students and early career researchers (ECR).
Together with more than 150 university researchers from Australia and New Zealand, 18 ACU staff attended the most recent workshop from Co-Lab’s Translate to Innovate Series - LinkedIn for Professionals and Researchers. The next workshop’s focus will be ‘Identifying and building the commercial potential of your research’ on 16 May.
The 20-webinar series consists of one-hour live workshops that are customised to help university participants improve industry engagement and commercialisation. The aim is to prepare staff to access, and then capitalise on, additional sources of revenue for ACU. The cost of the Translate to Innovate Series is fully subsidised by ACU Co-Lab.
Heart Foundation – Postdoctoral Fellowship
The fellowship allows a recent PhD graduate with strong track record during their PhD to boost their research career and enhance their ability to attract and secure future funding. The applicant must be involved in Cardiovascular Research (including stroke research), and have completed their PhD within three years of the application closing date.
Heart Foundation – Vanguard Grant
Vanguard Grant supports research in biomedical, clinical, public health and/or health services. Projects are expected to produce tangible outcomes with the potential to further advance preclinical research technology or improve cardiovascular health.
Arts and Humanities Research Council UK – Curiosity Award
AHRC funds outstanding original research across the whole range of the arts and humanities. The Curiosity Award aims to fund fundamental research that leads to new research agendas, networking activity and idea generation, which enables the development of further research opportunities and new research agendas. Only a UK research organisation is eligible to lead the application and ACU researchers can be part of the application as project co-leads.
Arts and Humanities Research Council UK – Catalyst Award
AHRC funds outstanding original research across the whole range of the arts and humanities. The Catalyst Award aims to support researchers without prior experience of leading a significant research project to accelerate their trajectory as independent researchers, to unlock their potential, build leadership and convenor experience.
Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship 2024
As part of the EU's R&I Framework Programme, Horizon Europe, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships provide two-year postdocs in Europe to develop your research career.
2025 National Library of Australia Scholarships and Asia Study Grants
Researchers, academics and PhD candidates are encouraged to apply for nine philanthropically funded scholarships and five grants. More information on eligibility, information on previous projects and online application forms are available on the National Library’s website.
ACT Road Safety Fund Grant
The road safety program aims to support road safety programs and rehabilitation services, road safety education and public awareness campaigns, research, road safety audits and feasibility studies into road design and construction.
The $5 million state-of-the-art human metabolic chamber at our ACU Melbourne campus is officially opened. Located within ACU’s Health precinct, the new facility is the only one of its kind in the southern hemisphere.
