ACU Library’s Research Engagement team is running their Research Essentials skills sessions again in 2024. Researchers are encouraged to keep an eye on the Library Training and Events webpage and sign up to any and all sessions of interest.
The next session is for the Research Metrics stream: Alternative Metrics. There are still spaces available for ‘Research Essentials: Get Metrics Part 2 – additional metrics for assessing research impact’. The Alternative Metrics session is one of two Metrics sessions: ‘Citation Metrics’ and ‘Alternative Metrics’
This session will dive deeper into additional and alternative metrics available to support your claims of research impact.

There will be a hands-on aspect to this workshop, allowing you to work with tools such as Altmetric Explorer to generate your own metrics. Use a Scopus ID or ORCID identifier to participate in the workshop.
