A message from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Tania Broadley.
Since joining ACU earlier this year, one of my key priorities has been the development of a new Education and Student Success Plan for ACU. This new plan will align with Vision 2033 and will guide us as we continue to put students at the centre of our work.
Development of the plan is currently underway, and we will soon be seeking input from you to ensure the diverse perspectives of our staff are captured in our new plan.
Our new Education and Student Success Plan will be shaped by several key themes:
By focusing on these priorities, we will deliver a plan that ensures we can continue our commitment to developing the whole person through a holistic approach to education and student services.
We want to ensure all staff and students have the opportunity to contribute to the new plan.
Consultation with students is currently underway to ensure we are co-designing a learning environment that truly supports student success and experience, and that the student voice is front and centre.
We will soon invite you to participate in the consultation process also. There will be a range of opportunities for staff to get involved, including workshops and focus groups, targeted discussions with key stakeholder groups, and an online discussion board.
We will be sharing more information about the staff consultation soon via the Staff Bulletin.
I encourage you to participate and join us in shaping the new Education and Student Success Plan.
