Join us for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025 as we celebrate under the official theme: ‘March Forward’.

ACU’s IWD event will be held online on Friday 7 March at 1pm AEDT (12pm AEST). Hosted by Professor Chris Lonsdale, Deputy Provost, this engaging panel discussion will explore women’s career progression at ACU, with a focus on academic promotions. Professor Lonsdale will set the scene by providing a snapshot of women’s achievements in academic promotions at ACU over the years.

Our IWD panel will include recently promoted female academics and an academic leader, who will share their career journeys, insights and reflections – empowering us all to #MarchForward. • Dr Shannon Dodd is a senior lecturer in Criminology in the Thomas More Law School
• Associate Professor Jodi Sita is the Academic Lead for Learning and Teaching, Faculty of Health Sciences
• Professor Theresa Dicke is the Program Lead for Educational and Development Psychology in the Institute for Positive Psychology and Education (IPPE)
• Professor Robyn Horner is from the School of Theology, and a member of the Institute for Religion and Critical Inquiry (IRCI).
