Report of the Provost

Academic Board approved the Common Academic Calendar and Study Periods for 2027 as endorsed by the Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) with immediate effect.

Policy Review, Approval and Monitoring

Academic Board:

• approved the amendments to the Managing Student Misconduct Procedure with effect from 15 April 2025.
• noted the 2024 Student Complaints Report.
• noted the 2024 Student Conduct Report (including Fraudulent Information).

Reporting Committees

1. Courses and Academic Quality Committee (CAQC)

Academic Board:

• noted the Digest of the Courses and Academic Quality Committee (CAQC) meeting 02/2025 held on 12 March 2025.
• approved the major course change to the FEA Foundation Studies program consisting of:
  • the change of delivery mode from Foundation Studies Terms to Semesters; and
  • the amendment of course maps to facilitate an Accelerated or Full Program enrolment for domestic students, and
• noted the minor change to the FEA Foundation Studies program consisting of unit refinements related to assessment tasks,
  as detailed in CMAS proposal PR001189 for implementation from Semester 1 2026.
• noted the Provost's Course Suspension Approvals.
