Celebrating the achievements of the Step Up into Teaching (SUIT) program

The Semester 1 2025 Student Evaluation of Learning and Teaching (SELT) surveys opened on 12 May and will close on 29 June. Students say they are more likely to complete the SELT surveys if they are reminded in class and understand their value.
The following resources have been developed by the Centre for Education and Innovation (CEI) to assist you to promote the SELT surveys to your students, including advice for students on how to complete it and provide constructive feedback. Academics are encouraged to circulate these resources:
Teaching staff are critical in promoting the SELT survey. CEI encourages you to hold discussions with your students about the importance of providing feedback on their learning experience and how feedback has been used to improve learning and teaching quality at ACU.
You can also monitor the response rates of your survey(s) in Canvas. Please see How to check response rates on Canvas.
