ACU librarians have recently begun using Rayyan for screening and collaboration.
Rayyan is a free alternative to Covidence that can assist with systematic review workflows. Read more about Rayyan and other alternatives below.
Rayyan's intuitive user interface makes it a useful app for deduplicating, screening, coding, and selecting studies. The free version allows sharing with an unlimited number of reviewers for up to three active reviews.
SRA is a free suite of automation tools developed by the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare at Bond University. Individual tools can assist with distinct phases of the review process including:
Colandr is free, open-source software that uses machine learning and natural language processing approaches. Features include collaborative workflows, deduplication, smart sorting of citations, and data extraction.
SUMARI is Joanna Briggs Institute's premier software for the systematic review of evidence. It's designed to facilitate the entire review process, from protocol to screening, critical appraisal, data extraction, data synthesis and also includes templates for writing a systematic review report. JBI SUMARI is free for ACU researchers via our subscription to JBI EBP database.
Many more tools are available via the Systematic Review Toolbox (go to 'Advanced Search' > select relevant 'Review Stage', then 'Search').
For more information about these tools contact library@acu.edu.au.
