The Faculty of Education and Arts is pleased to invite you to the second annual Synergy: Research partnerships for the common good research seminar event.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, Synergy continues to serve as a vibrant platform for fostering impactful collaborations between academia, industry, and community. This year’s seminar will spotlight the work of two of ACU’s leading research institutes: the Institute for Child Protection Studies (ICPS) and the Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences (IHSS).
Synergy reflects our faculty’s enduring commitment to research that drives positive change. The 2025 program will showcase innovative projects, thought leadership, and collaborative approaches to addressing complex societal challenges.
Attendees will hear from distinguished speakers including Associate Professor Tim Moore from ICPS, Associate Professor Tom Barnes from IHSS, and Ms Megan Kavanagh, ACCER, whose research exemplifies the transformative potential of cross-sector partnerships.
Highlights of the event include:
ACU’s Faculty of Education and Arts is proud to be a trusted partner in research that matters. Through Synergy, we aim to deepen connections, inspire innovation, and advance our shared vision of thriving communities and flourishing lives.
“Synergy is more than a seminar—it’s a catalyst for collaboration,” said Associate Dean Research, Professor Clarence Ng. “We look forward to welcoming colleagues and partners to this year’s event as we continue building a legacy of research for the common good.”
