Finance Fundamentals Training
18 March NationalAre you new to ACU or new to your role? The Finance Fundamentals session is designed to provide an introductory overview of Finance at ACU.
Do you want to deliver better services to your customers while spending less time doing things that don't matter? Of course, you do! To save time, we need to understand our work and how we can improve it. Business process management can help us by clarifying who does what, how to do it, and why it matters, all while improving customer experience, increasing efficiency, and improving quality and consistency of service.
You will find business process management useful if you are working with lengthy manuals or cumbersome Visio diagrams that can often be difficult to navigate for clear instruction or may appear overly technical.
This training is suitable for anyone responsible for the following:
NOTE: Training is split 2x 2 hour sessions held two weeks apart with activities to complete in between.

These workshops are available to all staff. They are not mandatory for casual staff.
Casual staff must obtain prior approval from their supervisor or manager to attend the training. For casual Academic staff such approval is required from the National Head of School or nominated supervisor (consistent with point 23. of the Employment of Sessional Academic Staff Policy)
The Faculty or Unit is responsible for paying the casual staff member for the time while they attend any non-mandatory professional development.
