Each ACU campus has partnered with local community organisations to ensure that donations directly meet the needs of our local communities. These important programs strive to empower disadvantaged women and men to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help thrive in work and life.
From 1-22 October ACU Engagement will be collecting donations of:
Volunteers needed
We are also looking for volunteers to help sort the items and prepare them for donation to our community organisations. Volunteers are welcome on all campuses and sorting will take place between Wednesday, 23 and Friday, 25 October 2019.

Please bring your donations to:
Women’s items donated at the Ballarat campus will be given to Dress for Success and men’s to Smart Blokes. Dress for Success have specifically requested larger sizes of clothing and Smart Blokes are in need of men’s shoes, particularly larger and smaller sizes.
Women’s items donated at the Brisbane campus will be given to Dress for Success and men’s to Suited to Success.
Items donated at the Canberra campus will be given to Communities at Work. They have specifically requested men’s and women’s shoes, especially women’s black slip on shoes, and women’s pants and handbags.
Women’s items donated at the Melbourne campus will be given to Dress for Success and men’s to Smart Blokes. Dress for Success have specifically requested larger sizes of clothing and Smart Blokes are in need of men’s shoes, particularly larger and smaller sizes.
Women’s items donated at the North Sydney campus will be given to Dress for Success and men’s to Dress for Work. Dress for success have specifically requested spring/summer clothing in up to date styles and Dress for Work would like men’s large sizes, cuff links, backpacks, shoes, new underwear and socks.
Women’s items donated at the Strathfield campus will be given to Dress for Success and men’s to Dress for Work. Dress for success have specifically requested spring/summer clothing in up to date styles and Metro Assist would like men’s large sizes, cuff links, backpacks, shoes, new underwear and socks.
