Do you have professional clothing you no longer need?
Each ACU campus has partnered with local community organisations to ensure that donations directly meet the needs of our local communities. These important programs strive to empower disadvantaged women and men to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help thrive in work and life.
From 1-22 October ACU Engagement will be collecting donations of:
- Clothing: clean and well maintained smart casual men’s and women’s clothing suitable for work or job interviews. All sizes needed and plus sizes particularly desirable - suits, shirts, dresses, pants, skirts etc.
- Accessories: good condition men’s and women’s accessories - handbags, backpacks, shoes, belts, ties, cufflinks
- Toiletries: new, unopened toiletries - makeup, deodorant etc.
Volunteers needed
We are also looking for volunteers to help sort the items and prepare them for donation to our community organisations. Volunteers are welcome on all campuses and sorting will take place between Wednesday, 23 and Friday, 25 October 2019.
See the campus specific information below, or for more information about this initiative, to lead a collection in your area or to volunteer, please contact ACU Engagement.
