Professional staff can now engage with their Progress Plan and you should have now received an email from Staff Connect with instructions about accessing your Progress Plan.
If you have an existing Performance Review and Planning (PRP) document, it is replaced with this process and any relevant inclusions in your PRP can be transitioned into your Progress Plan. It’s recommended that you update your new Progress Plan over the next three months, with reference to the training and conversation guides which are specific to the Progress Plan.
You will receive quarterly reminders to keep your plan up to date. Your first reminder in May 2021 is a good prompt to have a discussion with your supervisor and finish populating the plan for the remainder of the initial annual cycle.
At any time of the cycle you can add or modify your plan, depending on your needs.
Academic staff will be able to access their progress plans from next Monday 22 February.
Support
Support sessions are still available. You would have also received an email with the details of these sessions and the option to add the sessions of your choice to your calendar.
Both the introduction and the Progress Plan sessions are recommended. All sessions will be recorded and made available to staff.
The Progress Plan Policy and Conversation Guides are available for your reference, as well as the User Guide PDF, which is available on the Staff Connect support page. Further support materials including session recordings and videos explaining each section of the Progress Plan will be made available over the coming weeks.
Progress Plan-related FAQs are available in Service Central and further assistance can be requested through a Service Central request or by calling (07) 3623 7272.
