Academic promotions deadline approaching

Academic staff members are reminded that the 2021 academic promotions round for all academic levels closes at 5pm on Wednesday 30 June.

Applicants are reminded to submit their finalised Application and Case for Promotion Form to ACUAcademic.Promotions@acu.edu.au.

The following suggestions may help you finalise your application:

• Ensure you are using the current version of the Application and Case for Promotion Form for the level of application. Access the relevant forms.
• Review the materials on the Academic Promotions webpage. These include resources available to assist you with building your case for promotion and finalising your application, including taking a look at the exemplar applications from previously successful ACU staff members.
• Follow up with your nominated supervisor on the draft you have previously submitted. Take the time to discuss any feedback provided and incorporate it where possible (remembering word limits).
• Review the checklist at the end of the Application and Case for Promotion Form to confirm that you have met all promotion application requirements.
• When submitting your application, be sure to attach a Word document version along with the mandatory attachments, such as SELTs or equivalent, and the Orion Research Report.
