Discover our new Professional Learning Program

The Centre for Education and Innovation invites all academic and professional staff to attend a CEI Showcase event at their local campus in December to develop and enhance scholarly practice and build collaborations. A new Professional Learning Program (PLP) will be introduced at each campus showcase event.

The PLP is now available to support the learning interests and needs of staff engaged in teaching and learning support.

The program includes four levels of resources designed for staff at different stages of their careers, from new, early-career staff to those in senior leadership positions.

Resources are organised according to user profiles and navigating to relevant learning is easy.

This developmental PLP will assist ACU teachers and learning support staff to continue their own learning journey through access to resources, courses and collaborative opportunities.

The PLP focuses on supporting and developing scholarship in teaching and learning at ACU and seeks to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes required to achieve Advance HE Fellowships and Teaching Awards, as well as offering a formal qualification in the Graduate Certificate of Higher Education.

To achieve this, the program brings together resources from CEI and other Directorates including the library, HR and external sources.

The showcase presentation will orient attendees to the PLP and share example resources, offering staff the opportunity to engage with the PLP and raise questions or provide feedback on the program.
