Congratulations to Professor Anthony Whitty on his appointment to the Executive Committee of the Council of Australasian University Leaders in Learning and Teaching (CAULLT).

CAULLT is the peak professional body for leaders in university learning and teaching, whose responsibilities include academic development.

Professor Whitty’s appointment presents an exciting opportunity for ACU, strengthening our ability to integrate knowledge and promote teaching excellence and collaborations that enable future-focused education.

As the Director of the Centre for Education and Innovation at ACU, and the lead sponsor of the ACU Higher Education Learning and Teaching Academy (HELTA), Professor Whitty has an extensive track record and commitment to innovative practice and the advancement of learning and teaching.

As a previous recipient of an AAUT Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Learning and Teaching and more recently an Advance HE Strategic Leadership Programme certification, Professor Whitty continues in his pursuit of knowledge and the sharing of expertise and resources.
